Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Certification

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This class will cover the following: 
  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Preventing illness and injury
  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
This course is being offered in collaboration with Nicolet College and the American Heart Association. This class is designed to be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. It would also be useful for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for a job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. Participants who complete the class will receive a course completion/certification card that is valid for 2 years.

Date: Tuesday, Sept. 23
Time: 5:30 - 8:30 pm 
Ages: High School and up. Participants 16 and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Location: Room 275 (FCS Classroom), Entrance #4
Fee: $55/person (Participants under 62 years of age). $36/person (Participants 62 years of age and up).
