Acrylic Painting
Unleash your creativity and find joy in painting with classes led by Katie Pritzl, a high school ELA teacher at Tomahawk High School. Katie brings her love for the outdoors into each class, guiding participants to paint landscapes, floral scenes, and other nature-inspired subjects with step-by-step instructions. She will break down each project into easy-to-follow steps, helping you build skills in color mixing, brush techniques, and layering. These classes are all about creativity and relaxation. Whether you’re a first-time painter or experienced, you’ll feel comfortable and encouraged. Each class offers personal guidance and tips, as well as opportunities to ask questions. You’ll leave each class with a beautifully finished piece. All materials provided—just bring your enthusiasm, and let’s paint together!

Sunset Serenity
Capture the magic of a breathtaking sunset! You'll learn techniques for layering colors, creating depth, and adding unique touches that make each painting truly one of a kind.

Aurora Nights
Experience the wonder of the Northern Lights with paint and brush! Designed for all skill levels, this class will teach you how to capture the dazzling colors and ethereal glow of the aurora borealis dancing across a night sky. You’ll explore blending techniques to create soft, luminous effects and add depth to the stars and landscape below. Leave with your very own celestial masterpiece and a deeper appreciation for this natural phenomenon.

Forest Pathway
Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of nature! This class invites you to capture the peacefulness of a winding blacktop road cutting through towering green trees. Perfect for beginners and seasoned painters alike, you’ll learn techniques to depict depth, light filtering through the leaves, and the rich contrast between the dark road and vibrant foliage.

Mountain Blooms
Join us for an artistic journey to the mountains! In this nature-inspired session, you’ll learn how to paint a majestic mountain range with vibrant wildflowers in the foreground, creating a beautiful blend of bold and delicate elements on canvas. This class will cover techniques for capturing the rugged textures of mountains, floral details, and the interplay of light and shadow across the landscape. Suitable for all experience levels.

Blooming Blues
Celebrate the delicate beauty of lilacs in bloom! This class is perfect for artists of all levels, guiding you through the steps to paint soft, lush lilac flowers in shades of blue and lavender. You’ll learn techniques for layering petals, creating natural shadows, and adding a touch of realism to capture the elegance of each blossom. By the end, you’ll have a vibrant floral masterpiece to brighten any space.
