Dance Fit Cardio
Move to the beat and feel the burn! This high-energy class features fun dance moves set to today's upbeat hits, giving you a total-body workout that feels more like a party. Perfect for everyone, it's a great way to work up a sweat, build endurance, and have an absolute blast.  Come for the music and stay for the fun!

Bring: athletic shoes, sweat towel, and a water bottle


*Recommended to take with ‘HIIT Exercise' on Thursday evenings.*

Dates: Tuesday evenings
September 9 - December 16 (No Class on Nov. 25)
Time: 5:30 PM (50-minute classes)
Age: High school and up.
Location: Middle School Cafeteria, Entrance #4 (Park on the road in front of this entrance)


Hiit Exercise (High-Intensity Interval Training)
This 50-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercise class blends together intervals of bodyweight strength moves with higher intensity cardio bursts to keep your heart rate up and your motivation high. Each session is simple, fun, and always a little different. There’s no fancy choreography; just effective movements that get results. Come as you are, work at your own pace, and leave feeling stronger. Movements have options available for most fitness levels. Participants should be able to get down and up from the mat on their own relatively easily.

Bring: A yoga mat, athletic shoes, a sweat towel, and a water bottle.
*Please contact the program coordinator if you need assistance with a mat.*

Power Beats Fitness
Move to the music and feel the beat in this fun, energizing fitness class that uses drumsticks to amp up your workout. You’ll squat, lunge, strike, and sweat your way through simple, rhythmic movements that build strength, boost cardio, and relieve stress. No dance are skills needed, just a love of music and movement!

Bring: A yoga mat, drumsticks, athletic shoes, a sweat towel, and a water bottle.
*Please contact the program coordinator if you need assistance with drumsticks and/or a mat.*


Dates: Wednesday mornings
September 17 - December 17 (No Class on Oct. 15, Oct. 29, Nov. 26 & Dec. 10)
Time: 8:30 AM (50-minute classes)
Location: Auditorium Stage, Entrance #6

Core Mobility Exercise
Build a stronger, more resilient body, with no equipment needed. This bodyweight-based class blends core training, mobility work, and functional movement to improve strength, flexibility, and control. Designed for all levels, it’s a smart, low-impact complement to any training routine, whether you're just getting started or pushing for peak performance. Participants should be able to get down and up from the mat on their own relatively easily.

Bring: A yoga mat, athletic shoes, a sweat towel, and a water bottle.

Katie Simonsen brings over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, inspiring individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals with energy, enthusiasm, and a focus on fun. She enjoys leading in a wide range of classes, including strength training, cycling, HIIT, yoga, and dance-based workouts, and she uses the latest in exercise science to build challenging and effective workouts for all body types. Whether you’re a fitness newbie or a seasoned enthusiast, Katie will meet you where you are and help you push toward your goals in an enjoyable and safe environment.

Youth Calisthenics
In this after-school youth program, participants will learn to master their own bodyweight training skills that they never thought were possible. Calisthenics training is focused on static balance, explosive power, and raw bodyweight
strength through various skills and exercises. Participants should bring a water bottle.

Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays after school
Sept. 16 - Dec. 18 (No Class on 11/25 or 11/27)
Time: 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Ages: Grades 6, 7 & 8
Instructor: Lemuel Weideman, National Champion in Calisthenics & Street Workout in South Africa
