Calligraphy is the art of making beautiful letters. Using a broad-edged pen, students will learn to construct a basic italic alphabet and be introduced to a wide variety of alphabet styles, tools, and equipment to continue on their lettering journey. Students take home a pen, paper & ink. This class is for middle school age and older.
Instructor: Kim Montgomery
Kim and her husband moved to Tomahawk in 2022 to be near their two sons and 5 grandkids. She has practiced calligraphy as a hobby since 1980. She learned the art in a community college class and has had a love for beautiful letters all her life.
